and, 3 weeks later the band was overseas and back to my area, playing the twice-canceled shows from 2011. much stronger set, not as interesting lighting. also, i forgot bring my 16-35 which was a mistake given how spread out they were on stage.

probably not just you...Mogwai just basically stand around and play...very little physical movement or demonstrative expressions from them. Stuart (shaved head) probably moves around the most, but that's not saying much.

that said, their music has a tremendous amount of emotional impact (at least for me), far more than some bands that jump off amp stacks and make faces continually.

Mogwai is an incredible bands. Very jealous that you got to see them live. Nice images.

Mogwai's impact is entirely in the music they play. I saw them live in a former Croatian military base.. gave me chills. Have wanted to capture Stuart ever since. Very jealous

thanks guys. I totally agree...few bands make my spine tingle like Mogwai. I've been fortunate to see them seven times now.

i've missed seeing them three times in the last two years i think...swervedriver might move around less....
