I just bought a G1X a couple nights ago and went to Sterlingtek to get a couple extra batteries.

I found they have no listing for the NB-10L battery.

Have any of you found a good quality source for this battery? I like Sterlingteks prices. I bought batteries for a number of cameras and devices from them over the past few years and find that they are as good or better than the OEM batteries.

On the other side of that, I bought some junk from China for a couple phones and found them to be a total waste of money. They were not worth the postage to get them here.

Do you happen to know what the power rating is on them? I can see the voltage in the pic but not the ma rating.

Thanks for the link

My GT Max NB-10L batteries don't have a mAh rating printed on them. I have no idea what they are rated for but they seem to last just as long as the Canon NB-10L which is rated at 920mAh.

Even though the Sterlingtek NB-10L is rated at 1200mAh, I doubt it would last any longer.

I am a little confused here.

Sterlingtek from Amazon? I thought Sterlingtek was it's own business.

Also, I found no listing on Sterlingtek for the NB-10L. I contacted them by email and the answer I got was that the don't carry it and probably won't.
Here is a copy and paste from the email:

Im very sorry about this, I havent heard anything about getting these batteries in, or if we will ever be getting them in.

Can you explain?

They're just reslling on Amazon. It's nice to combine a few things to get free shipping.

Thanks for that. It makes sense now.

The thing I wonder is why Sterlingtek has no listing for it on their site and tell me they don't have that battery, yet the Amazon link indicates it is theirs. ???

FYI - I still had the boxes from two other batteries that I bought from Sterlingtek. The box that I received from Amazon is identical. Just FYI to verify that the Amazons are indeed from them.

Just tried ordering a couple from Amazon.com
They won't ship to Canada.

So I went to Amazon.ca
They don't have the Sterlingtek NB-10L

Argh
