Anyone shoots candid shots / people/ street scenes with the Canon SX40 and if so...your impressions? jim

Mainly ANALOG..... but I still have a few digitals hanging around

you should probably ask this question in the point and shoot subforum to get faster responses. theres a whole thread on SX40 photos: https://photography-on-the.net …/showthread.php​?t=1108703

and regarding street shots, the AF is a tad on the slow side, but you can use manual focus. so yes you can use it.

Canon gear: EOS M, Canonet QL17, SX230HS, S95, SD1200IS
Non-Canon gear: D600, D5000, D70, XG-2, U20
