What's wrong with these pics?

I took several pics today and they all have this weird 'shadow' or something on them. Even the bird's beak in the first pic, how is there a glare like that on a beak?

That's what it looks like to me too

Nope, don't have one, never used one, and...don't even know what one is.

Cheap UV filter?

I've never used anything but my camera body and a lens. I don't know how to, nor when to use a polarizer or filter, so I never bought/used one.

have you ever taken your camera on an airplane above 20,000 feet?

I got home from the air show last night, cleaned my lens, and put everything away until this afternoon when I saw these birds. This moon shot seems OK to me, but with the darkness of the shot, I'm not sure if it's messed up or not. This was taken about 10 minutes after the moon shot shown in my first post of this thread.

I've never been on an airplane in my life, and like I said, yesterday everything was great. This sucks.

Same thing I always have, a "Lens/Filter/Screen cleaner", ammonia & alcohol free.

how did you clean the lens? Have you taken a good long look at it since you cleaned it?
