I can't believe that guy lied to me. I guess the fact that half of the words in the letter were not spelled correctly should have been a clue.
But... but... princes don't lie! And I know he's a prince because he said so in his email! -Although come to think of it, the Nigerian government doesn't have a monarchy system... Uh oh, I'd better go call my bank.
To the OP: Just follow simple commerce 101: Client doesn't get to recieve the goods until AFTER they've paid. eBay even warns against sending an item until payment has been received on their site. Since this is pretty much guaranteed fraud on the buyer's part, you shouldn't have any problems with them voiding the current auction and letting you re-list the item. I've dealt with their fraud department before (though as a buyer, not a seller) and they're pretty quick to help you resolve your problem.
