In the market fior a new Monitor.

Looking at the new HP 27' backbit LED IPS monitor. Can any of you give me the good bads and uglies about LED and IPS monitors before i pull the trigger.. i will be using it to watch some movies and Photo Editing...

please help before i make a mistake.. lol

Check on tiger direct.com and ecost.com you can usually find some good deals. I've read that IPS screens have slightly slower response times than regular resolution screens, don't know if it's true though.
