... chatted with buddies out at Princess Arch a little too long and even after huffing it from there to the Chimney Top overlook in about 15 minutes, the sun had just disappeared behind some clouds... tried to gather as much light as possible while shooting 14 shots from one side of the overlook to the other shooting from around the round barrier at the edge of the overlook rather than from a single pivot point. Each of the 14 shots is a 3-image HDR that was individually denoised and tweaked in ps before merging the 14 images to one in ps. Each shot was at ISO2000 and most shots were around the 2-6 second mark at f/18. Each shot is at 17mm. The whole scene is probably 270-300 degrees in actual view. I tried my best to balance detail and noise levels and the color was a tad difficult as it was all pretty diffused by haze and the beginning of some fog rolling in. The "HDR-iness" is not so much from being overcooked in the HDR software, but more from expo and gamma tuning to gain some contrast in the rock formations in the distance.
