For the second time in 2 weeks i found myself watching The British Touring Car Championships...I'll get around to posting some shots from Oulton Park later...
Anyway, here's a few from Croft. Mostly from the practice & qualifying sessions as i spent most of Race day just watching...occasionally watching the cars too *cough*
1 No Clio Cup this year (wooohooo) so we got the Scottish Mini Cooper Cup instead.

2 The man many people love to hate - Jason Plato. After an Electrical problem ruined race 1, he produced a storming drive from the back of the grid to finish 7th in race 2 and then won the final race of the day

4 The other guest support race was the Scottish Classic Saloon & Sports Car Championship.

6 Rob Austin on maximum attack. He produced the drive of the weekend in race 2 to finish 3rd, taking the first podium for his RWD Audi A4.

I plan to do at least 1, or possibly 2 more BTCC rounds this year. The new regulations (IMHO) have revived the series and the cars look & sounds fantastic.
