Some special kids!

Recently took some photos for a summer camp for special needs kids that our church was putting on. Had a great time and I think the kids did too! Welcome any CC!

As a dad of a kiddo with special needs (Down syndrome) awesome job on these, and thanks to both your church for reaching out to these kids and to you for taking pics of them. I have found that, for the most part, I consistently get the most real, heartfelt, and ear to ear smiles from special needs kids when taking pics of them, and it makes it a pure joy (thus, as you can see from my pages below, my poor little guy has to endure constant photo bombardment from me, though he always seems to have fun with it).

A few more from the set, it was a great experience for me and I hear that the parents loved the photos because they showed their kids just being happy. It was challenging because a lot of them were made nervous by the camera and some were in constant rocking motion (missed focus quite often). The 70-200 was very handy to keep my distance.
