The Macbook Air overall is still the best-in-class for ultrabooks, even when price is concerned.
However snapping at it's heels is theAsus Zenbook UX31 (external link).

Personally, If I were getting an Ultrabook, I wouldn't look at anything but those two.

I own the Asus Zenbook UX31, I am very pleased except for the keyboard.

I'm going with the new Samsung series 9, 15", Ivy bridge, 8GB ram. I'm installing a 256 ssd. I love the screen and the light wt for travel.
