So I've been in contact with someone who wanted to book a shoot through text. Last I gave her a quote and she was happy with the price but said she had to confirm with her fiancé. I hate to be that pushy sales guy and I'm not sure if I should follow up or let her contact me if she's interested. Last contact was Monday, is there a certain amount of time to wait? What is the best practice here?

I would think that a week should be OK. that should be ample time to get it figured out.

A week is plenty of time. Drop them a line, remind them that your schedule is filling up quickly and you'd love to get them a time that works best for them, and to book soon.

But after two follow-ups, if you don't hear back, leave it be.

Being the pushy sales type has little to do with how long you leave it to follow up and more to do with the way you follow up.
