I searched and cant find what I'm looking for. I hope this is the right place to ask.

What I'd like to do is hook my T3i up to my ipad or windows laptop. ANd use the screen as a larger view finder display and upon taking a picture it opens it directly up in an editor.

I'm assuming I can just hook up with the usb to mini usb cable, but what software do I need?
