I just ordered a 60D through the 20% off promo for refurbished. Did not use CLP so do not have to send a camera in. While on vacation last week, my trusty 40D took a dive off the table and after about 5 pictures got the Error 99. Tried all suggestions here for bringing it back but no luck. Fortunately, had it insured through State Farm personal articles policy and claims called this morning and after talking to them they decided to just send me a check!! They did not even require an estimate. Can't wait to get it............
