Hi all,

We're back again to share a few recent photos of our backyard birds... and to throw in a real quick update on our Bluebird family.

First, ... a few other Summer birds from around the yard.

Ruby-throated Hummingbird (male) :

American Robin (juvenile) :

And our Eastern Bluebirds... who currently have 5 new (3day old) nestlings in their third nest of the season.
Missy: (now the proud Mom of 77 baby Blues over her 6 seasons here)

Ben: (Missy's mate)

And one of their 10 fledglings from this season's prior nests:

Really nice Kenn. You're very fortunate to have the Bluebirds nest in your yard.

Lovely series Kenn. We have some of the same birds, but your Blues are always so very special. Glad to see you posting.

those are fantastic Kenn

Every time you post I think about selling my gear and getting an SX40.
I did take my uncle out shooting with the one I convinced him to get and he did very well with it.

Thanks also Flo, Dean, and Jeremy

@Jeremy - Glad to hear your uncle is getting on well with the SX40. It is a pretty easy-going camera which often takes very good shots sooc. And it can produce excellent images when conditions are right. I haven't had much chance to use ours frankly, because Temple is using it nearly all the time. :)

Thanks again everybody,

Kenn
