I have read everything I can on this forum and everywhere else. I need your help with this please: I am not a pro, (far from it) will never be, BUT would like to take the best portrait photos, Sig.Other photos, photos for Friends, I can, most indoors, some outside.

G12, 430EX!!, 220EX.but WHICH cheap wireless Trigger/Receiver of these:

1st would I be better off replacing the 220EX with something like this?
http://www.amazon.com …&sr=1-1&keywords=LP160%2C (external link)

now, Wireless set-up:

http://www.amazon.com …flash+trigger+2+receivers (external link)

or
http://www.gadgetinfinity.com …h-transceiver-v5-duo.html (external link)

or
http://www.amazon.com …/B005IQRMN4/ref=pd_cp_p_0 (external link)

is this a different thing altogether?
http://www.amazon.com …ZIPO&coliid=I4ECLDF7FG2XK (external link)

TTL might be nice but I do not think I will get it with these low-end set-ups and this will always be a hobby for me.

OK, Thank you for reading and your help.

I'd go with the cactus V5's- they are very reliable. And I'd replace your 220 with a yn-560.

Thank you. The more I read the more confusing it gets The Strobist blog recommended the flash I posted. I have seen a lot of posts about the yn-560 and yongnou (sp) flashes in general. There are so many triggers it is difficult to know which low-end is better, if any!:) Thanks again.

You will not go wrong with the Yongnuo or the LP160, but stay away, far away from anything that says Cowboy Studios. Lots of horror stories about them here on the forum.

^^ What he said.
I've been using Yongnuo triggers for a couple of years and they proved to be very reliable.

I am sorry. I forgot to thank you for taking the time to reply. I sincerely appreciate your advice. I thanked silvrbullet but failed to give y'all my thanks. Again, your thoughts are helpful and I am grateful.
