I would like to do some entry level video work. I have a 7D, T3i, and a Zoom H4n recorder, and I would like to do a short music video of my kids (piano, guitar, drums), and I'm wonder how well CS6 could mix the two video streams, plus the high quality audio. I would like to make it as profession as possible with multiple camera angles sync'd to to the audio. I can get reasonable upgrade cost from cs5 extended, so cs6 could be attractive. But if not cs6, what are some other low cost options. I'm a PC user.

CS6 is great. The addition of Warp Stabilizer, adjustment layers, and a bunch of other new features... i'm loving it, but thats just my humble opinion

I am with bpaulette. Definitely worth the upgrade price and you can do multicam in cs6. Simple and intuitive. Check it out http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YOiIsGb1yJo (external link)

You can mix in Audition and do the rest in Premiere. I strictly use the Adobe Suite in my workflow.

I recently shot and edited my first video using PS CS6, I think its nice and easy to use, especially when you know your way around PS already. I have yet to utilize several camera angles and doing mix-downs using different audio sources, I'll give that a shot next time.

Thanks for sharing. I bet those tires don't last long :) Was this just with regular CS6 or the extended version. It looks like Adobe put some nice video features in the baseline CS6 products, and I don't have to spend extra for the "premiere" version.

I know I'm late to the party on this, but I just wanted to endorse CS6 as well.
Also, since the release of Creative Cloud, you basically get any and all Adobe products for $49 a month. Over two years time, that's still less than purchasing Premiere as a standalone. Since I had a licensed copy of CS4, I was able to get a discount of only $29 a month for the first year.
