Need quick tips - Donnington

Off to truck racing, Never been here before, Wheres the best shoot points, Reading up - most say anything less than 200ml on a crop sensor isn't much use so it looks like you can't get that near. Its a big site and I'm not an athlete so need to pack right, Im thinking 50D with 70-200 F4 and 7D with 100-400L or would I get away with just the 7D with the 70-200L + 1.4telecon to stay light.
No doubt a coffee there is the price of a small lens.

The inside or redgate is really close to the track and you can get to the inside of the craner curves but the old hairpin is quite a way from the fence, and the disabled viewing on the outside of coppice and the outside of the goddards chicane as you can get them going through onto the start straight

7D with the 100-400 will just about do you, just take a wander round and see where suits you.

used to love that combo for racing

Thanks guys, Will go with that. Ill take the 50D as well for later on as I only have 3 batteries for the 7D and the IS on the 100-400 is a bit greedy. Just need decent weather now.
