Got a question. I have a link in my signature to my Zenfolio gallery but it seems the only way I can get the link to work is to post the actual URL. I would much prefer to have a title with the <A HREF blah, blah, blah html coding like everyone else on this forum seems to have. I cannot for the life of me get this to work. Do I need a certain post count to enable this? It does seem that I don't have many permissions enabled.

No, but you'll have to use vB Code (BBCode, as used on most forums) instead of HTML. POTN doesn't support direct use of HTML in posting, PMs or signatures. But the "Edit Signature" tab supports the same WYSIWYG interface that the post editor does, so you don't have to learn BBCode either if you don't want to.

Ok, so what is it that I don't seem to get that everyone else here seems to be able to do with no problem? I just want my link to read: "Image of the Horse", and link to the url. Some other forums have a dialog that comes up allowing you to fill in the actual url in one field and the text for the link in another field. Since there's only one field here, I'm apparently lost.

Thanks,

Bob

If you go to this (external link) site you can find examples of how to change font size, color, bold, etc. What options are available depends on what has been implemented here. Or just use the WYSIWYG interface :)

Thank you! I have been screwing with this for weeks. I'm sure kids probably learn this stuff in the third grade these days.
