I wouldn't hesitate to buy a refurb. They come with a warranty.....the prices is right....hard to go wrong. I've had two that you couldn't tell from brand new....both performed flawlessly.

I got a PowerShot A630 refurb that's done great. I'd have no hesitation going that route.
