The mirror on my dads 5d fell off the other day at work. He uses it for outside the studio shots which they use 1dsiii's. Anyhow he was in the wood working shop and the shop guy said they had some strong glue, so they glued it back in. I asked him why, and he told me he's that busy and couldn't be without.

Why bring this up? He's the full-time photographer for Penzy's spices.

 Yeah... I mean I've had the car for over 3 years and the other owners had it for over 6 and it's the OEM battery. It took awhile for the engine to turnover yesterday when I left work, but that's happened before so I didn't think too much of it, and then I went out this morning and it was completely shot. Jumped right up though which was bizarre, but I had it tested and it was a goner.

10 years on the original battery?! And only $150 to replace it. You've got absolutely nothing to complain about. Around here batteries only last 3-5 years before they start going downhill. And the slow cranking should have sent you a clear enough message.

No sorry. Original owners 6 months. The battery was about 4 years old

The slow cranking made me think about it but its happened sporadically to me or quite some time.

Sometimes slow cranking is due to corrosion as well. Remove the battery posts, clean and replace. It can make a difference sometimes.

There was no corrosion at all on the terminals, they were perfectly clean. The battery actually had a little electrolyte gauge on it and that said it was bad and so did the test they ran. It was just time. The heat here is brutal on batteries.

I hope you got a limeade or something to wash it down. I have a sonic right by my house... I need to go more often.

I'm not that big of a Sonic burger fan. They are way better than the big three but I prefer 5-guys or In and Out to Sonic. It's the shredded lettuce thing. Shred lettuce and put it on a warm burger and you get wilted limp lettuce, not that crispy crunchy bite. THey do have killer rings though.

Yeah there burgers aren't the best. Better than other fast food joints, but 5 guys and In N Out definitely beat sonic. I don't remember the last time I went to sonic for food, it's more for the drinks/ice cream treats.
