I love adventure type road trips. The wife and I routinely just take off without a specific goal in mind. Sometimes it's a wash but every once in a while we find a gem.

Sometimes she finds an article in the paper and saves is as it looks as if it has photo-op possibilities and sometimes we just head out on the highway. We discovered Jasper-Pulaski and the cranes that way, she read an article and one morning we headed out to take a look. Not sure why, but call me JJ.
