It would cut Kristy's commute from 35-45 minutes down to about 10-15 minutes though. I might discover a new interest in landscape shooting too.

Still only about twenty minutes to Falcon Field and another fifteen or so to Willie.

Wow that's pretty substantial.

Here's a quick edit of one of the shots... quite frankly I have no idea what to do with these.

It's kind of bassackwards but her commute is now 15 minutes shorter by the clock despite being a couple miles longer by the odometer.

We think it's because her new gig is only 1/4 mile east of a major freeway exit while her old job required a couple miles of surface street navigation once you got up to the same latitude as her old office.

Meh, most fireworks shows are too long anyway. Just give me a few good booms and some flashes and that's it. :p

One more with a little more color in it.

Yeah... commutes around here are bizarre... distance means nothing, it's all about how close you are to a freeway.

I'm off to bed though... I have work in the morning. :(

I wonder if anyone at Apple actually tried multimedia on an iPad before crowing about what a great multimedia platform it is...

I swear, no video of any kind wants to load in anything approaching a timely manner.

I thought the iPad didn't support Flash. And, isn't that what those videos require in order to play properly?

Fourth time was the charm. It played.

Love the crowd reaction. Guess nobody knows what a proper display actually looks like.

No video showing up on the iPhone either :(

Just woke up to a rather intense lightning storm outside, hope it doesn't start any fires. Record setting temperatures and not a lot of rain is a good combination for field fires.

That was the problem I had in Illinois. I had a 40 mile a day each way commute. It took me about an hour. 10 miles was getting to the highway and 30 on the highway yet the time was split pretty much 50%/50%. Right now I'm staying 2 miles from the office and the commute is 5 minutes. It's so nice not living in a car. :)

Hope everyone had a great 4th...

We took in a ballgame tonight Vs the Padres (lost) with a very nice fireworks show after the game (win!)

No fire flowers for me this year. :( Just a lot of house hunting.

Good morning JJ. Good luck with the house hunting.

I'm working today too, although other than a few summer classes, the place is pretty much shut down today. Looking forward to getting some work done without all the interruptions.
