We've asked him before.
No good answer.

Actually, I'm fading very fast! It's an hour and a half past my self-imposed bedtime!

Ryan Air...

They are a ****ing joke. Used them once... and once only.

19 Euros from Brussels to Madrid. Hell of a deal, but I didn't say I'd flown them twice now, did I? :p

I am not really a big fan of back-button AF - yet...

It's takes some time to adapt to it, but once you get the hang of it...

I always choose a nice margarita mix for my recovery mix.

Thumbs up on that!

I had a training partner go off to race in Europe in 1992, and he said that they would just shoot you up with some stuff and pass it off as a "recovery" mix. He wasn't even full-on pro yet. He couldn't believe how fast he was.

Sheesh, that's insane.

Because someone on another forum keeps enticing me back. And, as long as I'm still checking in there I might as well be... Y'know, you're right! Screw it!

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

But when you have to shoot looking back over your right shoulder, having focus on the shutter button is MUCH easier!

The 40D has a dedicated back focus button, so I can use either at any time..

Sheesh, that's insane.

Those were crazy times. I was training with Vaughters every so often back then as well. 120 lb 17 year-old climber guy, winning some big CO races.

So, I've pretty much figured all Euro-Pros doped throughout my whole racing experience. Locally, I've lined up against dopers in the amateur ranks, and sometimes known about it ahead of time. One time I ended up in a break with one, and he was skipping pulls. I talked another break mate into working with me to gap him off, and it was one of the most beautiful obvious plays I've done. Doper couldn't take another gap recovery and popped off. The next day, he crashed out in front of me in a crit. I got two podiums that weekend, and felt that karma was on my side :) (this was last year!)
