Those were crazy times. I was training with Vaughters every so often back then as well. 120 lb 17 year-old climber guy, winning some big CO races.

So, I've pretty much figured all Euro-Pros doped throughout my whole racing experience. Locally, I've lined up against dopers in the amateur ranks, and sometimes known about it ahead of time. One time I ended up in a break with one, and he was skipping pulls. I talked another break mate into working with me to gap him off, and it was one of the most beautiful obvious plays I've done. Doper couldn't take another gap recovery and popped off. The next day, he crashed out in front of me in a crit. I got two podiums that weekend, and felt that karma was on my side :) (this was last year!)

You mind translating that? Not all of us speak bicycle...

:) Translations in bold:

Those were crazy times. I was training with Vaughters [another implicated pro] every so often back then as well. 120 lb 17 year-old climber guy, winning some big CO [COLORado]races.

So, I've pretty much figured all Euro-Pros doped throughout my whole racing experience. Locally, I've lined up against dopers in the amateur ranks, and sometimes known about it ahead of time. One time I ended up in a break [Small group ahead of the big group, sharing the workload by drafting each other and taking turns at the front doing all possible to avoid being caught by the pack]with one, and he was skipping pulls[Not taking his turn at the front]. I talked another break mate [guy in the break]into working with me to gap him off [when I'm done with a pull, he gives me room to get back in line in front of him... being lazy so he doesn't end up on front, but I let the break get away on purpose with him on my wheel -- he has to bet that I will decide to go back up and he'll draft me, or he has to attack me to try to get back up without me drafting him, of course I just kept going backwards until he made a move, always getting me back up to the break... except the last time he died about 15 meters short, and I attacked him and made it back on w/out him], and it was one of the most beautiful obvious plays I've done. Doper couldn't take another gap recovery and popped off. The next day, he crashed out in front of me in a crit [he crashed in a shorter super-fast race and didn't finish]. I got two podiums the top three placings get on the podiumthat weekend, and felt that karma was on my side (this was last year!)

Not exactly. More than a couple, less than juiced ;)

Freakin' juicers have ruined so many sports. How many HRs would the Bambino or Hammerin' Hank have had if they had cheated? Was Gretzky really the great one or was he just a hopped up average player? How about MJ, was he on the up and up or was he flying on some alternative fuel?

Hmmmm....

There is something missing Dan but I can't put a finger on it.

Nice dynamic image though.
