Really? I've never had any issues with my vented lenses.

Really. I was surprised and ended up exchanging them out.

The vented locks i returned:

I've heard pros and cons on both the vented/unvented lenses. At the price, I guess it merits further study.

Hmm...

Why did you end up buying two sets of frames and not just extra lenses? I mean... you can never have too many frames, but.

Because I bought them when they literally had just released (First week in May) so no lenses were available except for those that came with the pair you purchased. So i purchased two of them and mixed up the sets as i wanted. :D

Great thing Dan is that you can take them out for a spin and put them through its paces. They are not cheap so it is great you can try them out before deciding to keep them :D

Ah nice. What lenses do you have now (and which one did you have in the vented?)

I have the G30 which is nice, except for in the middle of the day, it could be a bit darker.

What's your go to lens, or do you swap them out a lot?

I want to try the Clear/Black Iridium Photochromic lenses for those early morning / early evening rides when the light changes a lot.

The polarized are super expensive... Normal lenses I think are $50-60, or at least they are for the normal Radar (pretty sure they use the same lenses)

The Fire iridiums for sure are my go to lenses for now. Once winter comes around and all the trees become bare i will switch out between the G30 and G40.

I suspect they are less liberal with their prescription lenses.

Yeah, that's part of the reason I've stuck with contacts while riding, so I can wear whatever sunglasses I want.

Contacts are a no go for me....I've tried....just can't wear them. Hard, soft, extended wear, disposable....doesn't matter.
