You're having a cold summer and we're breaking temperature records with near drought conditions.

It was actually cool when I headed out on my bike ride this morning. The hottest days in the coming week will only be 105-106 which is almost frigid for this time of year. I am not complaining.

Chief I cant imagine that being almost frigid and wouldn't want to be around what you would call hot

Throw in the city heat as well: Cars on idle because of traffic lights, the heat given off by buildings especially with air conditioning going on all day, etc.

hasnt been 100 here in 2 weeks
Its been a cold summer

It's hit 100 a coule times since I moved here in Dallas, but it's also very dry so as long as your out of the sun, it's not too bad. Get in the sun and you cook though. The sun is intense, really intense. I tried jogging on Saturday, went out at 10am thinking that it was cooler but dang did I fry.

It will be 100°f here as well. Hasn't rained in 7 weeks now. The grass is brown and brittle, can't imagine the crops.

I'm hearing the same from my wife who is still in Naperville. Everything is cooked and dry. THey have had little bouts of rain but not enough to make a real differance. For me it's good I guess because the ground is so dry that all the dampness is gone from the basement. It's just noce and cool. :)
