Egg is one of those foods that if I could not eat is normally, I would rather remove it completely. I'm sure it's healthier for you but I have been blessed with the "don't give a rat's a$$ about cholesterol gene". My count has always been low and doesn't seem to be impacted by cholesterol much. It's the same with salt. I salt my food quite a bit. My wife freaks out all the time. Her family have always had issues with high blood pressure and I got the other gene. If I have too little salt I start to feel bad and my BP can drop. It manifests itself most when sitting for a while and I stand up quickly. I get really dizzy for a second or two.

I think I have that same gene.... I don't go nuts over what may be in food, but I also don't eat pure junk. I do really enjoy a good salad, and this family has always been big into veggies.

As for salt, I like salty stuff but I don't actually put it on much stuff. Certain veggies need salt, and my popcorn needs to be salty. I most always will choose salty snacks over sugary ones. Chips over cake.

I do know full well that I can easily get salt deprived, and I get rather sick when it happens.

Same here. I'm not a big fan of sweets. I like cake but prefer the less sweet and un-frosted ones. Same with cup cakes. These new places that pile on 2" of frosting are nuts. I just want a plain cupcake, nekid, nothing on it.

I prefer nekid cupcakes too. I usually scrape the frosting off.

I love eggs! They are like the perfect "clean protein" food. So many ways to cook them, and so many different flavors you can add to them to get a different taste. :)

I eat on yolk per 3 whites... you do need a little yolk I think.. lol..

Quicke, Souffle, Strata, Omlette, Fried, Boiled, Poached, Scrambled... add egg, spinach, asparagus, broccoli, mushroom, seafood, cheeses, chorizo.... it goes on and on and on... we could eat it every day for a month and not have the same dish twice! :)

Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away.
