I love spices but I am also a firm believer that spices are there to make food better, not to become the food itself. Too make I think way over spice thus ruining the base food taste. Lots of grocery story prepared foods do this. I got a rosemary garlic chicken from our local Kroger and the rosemary and garlic were so strong that after a bite or two, that's all you tasted.

Right, last thing you want is to eat just the spices but not taste the food itself.

I agree. Same goes for peppers, the heat should add to the flavor, not nuke your taste buds.

Thanks Harm! I have the Sigma 35 1.4 and Sigma 50 1.4 for now with the Canon 24-70L. It can hold me over for now :)
