Ellie is lovely!

Thankyou. Shes tiny and everyone thinks she is a kitten but shes 8 years old. We rescued her from the cat and dog home. I reckon she was mistreated and not fed properly when she was very young resulting in her small size (I know nothing about these things though so that could be nonsense)

If a female cat gets pregnant before she is one year old it frequently results in her not getting very big as she ages. Our little girl is one of these. She was adopted when she was less than a year old and we were told this by the vet.

Ellie looks very wise. But then so do most cats.:-)

That could be it, she was pregnant when she arrived at the cat and dog home (she was neutered there). Her kittens went to other homes

One of my favorite film shots in quite a while...
I came home from work with the sun just starting to peek through the clouds after a rainstorm and found this guy waiting for me at the door. I had been bringing a film camera to work with me all week to take sample shots since I was about to put the camera up for sale, so I pulled it out and grabbed this one before he started acting a fool begging for me to come in and feed him.

Thank you. He's an old boy of 17 and loves the company of people. One of the happiest cats I've ever seen. Glad you enjoyed the pics.

Agree with the others. Spencer is a handsome boy, and those are nice photos, Bob! Still going strong at 17 I hope?? The longest I ever had one was 18.

I may be fascinated with volcanoes, but the name's Lisa.

Not to take anything away from Spencer (who, I must concur, is gorgeous!), but my sister's cat lived to be almost 22... and her mother passed only a few months before her. Good genes. Fingers crossed that Spencer remains in good health!

I hope so too. My girl passed away suddenly after 17 years of being loved and spoiled rotten, leaving a huge hole in my heart. I, too hope that Spencer will live for many more years :)
