We found out in August of last year that he was in kidney failure. They said he would last til about Christmas. My wife did a ton of research and we have him on some medications that seem to really be helping, plus a blood transfusion. His values and weight loss have stabilized. He is still very playful and loves to cuddle. We won't keep him around for us, we will make the hard decision when we know it is time.
