I caught Luci with her favorite mouse today. As an aside, this photo was taken with the new Canon 40 mm 'pancake' lens. I'm really beginning to like this lens. (I own four L's, so I know a good lens). I bought the lens to use on my back-up body (Rebel) for bicycle outings, but it's really nice for a lot of things.

My wife thinks we have fleas in the house. I think she's wrong. But anyway, she read online to take a pan of water and oil in the dark and shine a flashlight into it to attract any fleas in your house. My cats loved it! I snapped a few shots with my trusty little SD780IS. That little camera amazes me sometimes...

For your wife: as far as I know that does not work...

Check the white cat, and is the undercoat is grey-ish fleas might be present.
Also a rub against the hairs can help to check for fleas (neck, base of the tail etc. are the places to look for fleas).
