Thank you so far so good. I can pick her up in the afternoon. Let's hope she will keep eating. They think it was just a virus. So with meds and 24 hour drip it seems to be cured..

That sounds very positive news indeed, so pleased she is on the mend:-)

I know how you feel when they are at the vets as our Leo and Morris are there today having their undercarriage bits removed

All the best for your kitty. Cats can go down hill rapidly, so it's important to monitor how much they eat and poop. We're dealing with a kitty that has IBD, he's on a limited diet which we have to conjole him to get to eat. No kibbles and this canned food only. Hand feeding six times a day, but it's worth it, he's a sweetheart. He is my avitar.

That is a lot of work but when your cat means that much to you I sure is worth. And yes it is important to keep an close eye on them....

That's a relief - let's hope she is on a mend. Come to think of it, our Tiger had a similar episode about a year ago where he stopped eating or even if he did, he'd lose his food. That went on for 24 hours so we took him to the vet in the morning. He had a virus and it began to resolve by mid-afternoon, although he remained subdued for another day.

Thanks Steve she is doing much better. Monday she will get a microchip because I ordered a food bowl that will open only to the chip that I want. So Yari can take all the time she needs to eat and Luna can finally go on a diet.... sssttt don't tell Miss Luna that :p
