He does look a lot like your manx. Ours is definitely not people friendly but he gets along with our two cats so we feed him. Our cats adopted a possum a few years ago too but we had to get rid of it because we have horses. It looks like they adopted him too. The last feral cat that we adopted was really friendly but he was more the size of our cats. He disappeared one night so I am hoping he found a new home and nothing bad happened to him. I usually go to feed horses at sun up and one morning I heard a really funny growling type noise in the tree line next to where we park. I think it was Bob but not sure. But whatever it was didn't stick around as the cry/growl/noise started fading off as it made its way down the tree line. If we set up the infrared, he comes in just after it gets dark eats, takes a nap in one of the cat beds, gets up eats again, and so on. He leaves around 5-ish.

I'm sure our Bob was someone's pet, which would account for his temperament. If you see him run, our Manx doesn't run like a cat. It has more of a pouncing motion like a large cat. BTW, even though he is very gentle with humans, we have seen him on a few occasions show his power when challenged by some of the Tom cats in the area. He always comes out the winner. He may get some bruises and scratches, but the Toms rarely mess with him more than once. Anyway, it sounds like your animal prefers to be alone, so doesn't sound like he's going to be much of a problem. You might check your video images to see if he has a tail. His markings are very similar to the Manx. I've included another pic where you can see that he has no tail.

Had to put my dear Charles Xavier to sleep last month. He developed a tumor in his sinus/nasal cavity and it was extremely aggressive. It hurt so much to see him in the shape he was and hurt just as much saying goodbye.

I'm so sorry to hear that. RIP little Charles, I'm quite sure he had the best life you could give him.

Thank you. He did have an incredible life with my family, me and even the ex-wife. My son misses a lot. But he know's he is in heaven.
