It is the sharpest (at f1.4) and heaviest f1.4 lens that I have ever had. My
monopod is my new best friend!! As you can see the autofocus aimed on
her nose. I sure will enjoy animal eye autofocus if it comes available. Love
the lens....

Going through some old shots and case across these.

“Peaches” (Tabby/Tort mix) and “Boots” (Blk/Whi) shortly after we brought them home from the shelter in Dec 2016. Unbeknownst to us, “Boots” had been exposed to corona virus and developed FIP (Feline infectious peritonitis). As it is nearly always fatal and with no treatment available, we had to put him down just a few months later.

Peaches has done well as a single kitty and is my wife’s near constant companion and quite the character.

Yes FIP is an awful disease I know my little man Stapper died of FIP as well a few years ago. A matter of three weeks with lots of vet appointments before we knew what it was...
