Guess what, he's come again, this time during the day. Knocked on the sliding door rather hard, so that I could hear him from the kitchen.
Fed, cuddled and whispered words of love again into that curled up ear (he had a horrible ear infection left untreated by his owner!!! Can you imagine?

I love the 135mm for its spectacular IQ but the minimum distance is a an issue and I wanted a shot while he was looking up to me. Put the fantastic plastic on and got the second shot, it's not as crisp on his eyes but I'll take it!
So here is this beauty again

Oh, I missed that info.

Gives him “character”. We had a cat that had about the last 2-3 inches of her tail that rolled over. Look liked a question mark.

I'd have missed it too but reminded me of our cat:

and by profession medical problems are of interest to me.

With this one I've had to amputate the last few centimetres of his tail and now he wears it like this:

Ouch, what problem did that sweetie have that made you amputate the tip of his tail?

He was found at the edge of the road, they thought at first he was dead. Brought to the animalshelter and than to us. He had a fractured knee and an injured , partially paralysed tail. His weight was half what it should be at his estimated age (then 6-8 months). We nursed him back to health and operated his knee and later the tip of his tail became necrotic so then it had to come off.
My wife fell in love with him so he never returned to the shelter. At first he recovered very well but now it turns out he has kidney :-problems:cry:.

That's a very sad story but he is so fortunate to be with a loving family. So sorry to hear about his kidney problems. All I know is that he is good hands with you and your wife. Wishing you a lot of strength!

Well without you he would have been gone a long time ago and he sure looks like he is enjoying himself.
I've had a bunch of cats with kidney issues. Lots of water and subq fluids, water down the wet food. Cats which come from the outdoors a lot of times will be compromised with their health, possibly because of bad prenatal care.
