This heart breaker just lives in my backyard and knocks on the sliding patio door, walks in, carries on a decent conversation with me. I've added yet another language to my overloaded brain as 7 weren't enough. But heck, I'm now well versed in his "kitty" language" and I have to say that he is quite an intellectual...totally to my likings.

Some shameless ablutions, cat style and so unlike a gentleman :)

And dat face! No comments.

He sure is a handsome lad.
I'd say he's got a PHD in Wrapping People Around His Little Finger :p
It's a common award cats seem to acquire

Richard, you've deciphered his abilities so well. PhD in Wrapping Me Around His Little Finger is what he's about. Worst part is that I have totally fallen into his sophisticated trap...and so willingly :)

Cats have a magnetic personality. Well they do when I'm around.
As a small boy I returned home one day from school with a tabby cat.
I told mum it followed me home! Mum's being what they are knew better.
She'd actually watched the final lap and apparently me turning every so often to call come on puss
Anyway I was promptly sent off up town to check who'd lost a cat.
Believe it or not, but no one owned up to her belonging to them.
So cat lived happily ever after on our farm.
One night, unbeknown to me she snuck into my bed in middle of night and delivered her kittens!

Not sure I'd cope with that now though.
Sorry, no pictures of proof :p

What a story!
I'm in the same boat being a cat or any animal magnet. All those local mutts aka bitzers and stray alley cats follow me.

I have a weird story about my late Madame Patches...I'll tell you one day.

Does anyone's cat allow you to brush it? Our cat won't allow it. I'm beginning to realize that there is no normal when it comes to cats. lol

I have some that love it, can't get enough. They will lean into the brush hard when you do their neck.

Interesting. I wish he would let us. His coat looks a little scruffy.-?

I can only speak about 2 cats I had in the past. One hated it when brushed with a spiky brush but slowly got accustomed to a brush with tiny plastic tips. The other one loved it. I am about to try it out on my visitor and will report in due time.

It's probably just this cat. Everything is on his terms. Even petting him has to be when he is in the mood.
