He is our wild backyard kitty, so we can't ever get close to him except to feed him, but he is WAY smaller than our house cats, Lenny and Carl (especially Lenny Fuji XT-2, XT-3, Sony A1, A7RIV, A9, and an OM-1

I gather these are wild but bit domesticated. Do you ever get near them, or they keep their distance? The grey one certainly showing his credentials ![]() They're feral but I give them some food (but not too much to make them complacent) and a place to stay (shelter from the rain, wind, etc). They come and go as they please. They're essentially barn cats. I have a 5 acre bahia grass field so there's lots of mice and snakes. I keep the feral cats happy because they keep good pressure on the mice and snakes. They're kind of spooky but the two older ones are super tame and will come rub on me. After enough feeds, they all will generally let me be close, and touch while feeding. But when they're in a mood and having a good play, you can't get near them. But I enjoy their play battles.
