I love Lilac/Blue Points and it took me 2 years to find a suitable replacement for my first.
My condolences on your loss and 16 years is a nice run for a cat.

What a beautiful boy he was.
Sad you've lost him. Never easy when they become part of the family.
He had a good life span. Which makes it all the harder.

Ah, that's too bad. Such a beautiful cat. I had a Himalayan back BDC. (Before Digital Cameras.) He was quite a fur generator.

So sorry to have to add to the previous sadness.

Our Sydney had to have emergency surgery on Monday.
He seemed to be making a good recovery at the Vets but yesterday afternoon we got a call to say he had gone down hill rapidly with kidney failure.
We went straight over to be with him and say goodbye as he went peacefully over the rainbow bridge.
His passing will leave a large hole in our hearts.
Sleep well big fella...

This was the last 'proper' photo I took of him just over a month ago.

That's so sad Jeff. He sure was a very smart looking cat, beautiful photo of him.
The older we get unfortunately the more wonderful cats leave us.
Not nice at all and no doubt leave a big hole in life at your place
