There is nothing more loyal than a cat that chooses you. Mina would demand to get under the sheets when I was going to bed. Not to cuddle, but to check that the bed was safe. She would survey the perimeter of the mattress and paw any stray feathers (making sure they weren't alive), then walk up to my face and meow an "All Safe".

Eons ago when in primary school a cat followed me home. Well that's what I told mum, except she'd watch me come up the drive to the farm house and saw me constantly turning and calling the cat!
She sent me along with the cat back up town to check if anyone owned it. Mittens lived out her life safely at our place

Here's another shot of Mina. She was always tough to shoot because as soon as I pointed the camera at her, she would start walking to me. Not sure what lens I used here, My old D3200 couldn't recognize manual lenses.
