I believe you will need to update to ACR 6.7 to view/edit 5DMkIII files

Yep. Update your ACR and it'll be fine. I'm still using CS5 with no problem.

I think ACR is currently at version 7.x. So anything above what the poster above me said will work fine.

V7 is for CS6 and wont work on CS5 - The latest version for CS5 is 6.7
