I'm looking to soon purchase an HP dv6 or dv7 with the full HD display, but I'm wondering how these screens perform with regards to minimizing gamma shift?

I remember reading somewhere that there is a specific type of LCD display type that helps reduce gamma shift when viewing at different angles, but I don't recall the specifics.
