As I was looking thru the viewfinder I saw 2 black dots, and after checking the camera came to the conclusion that is on the viewfinder.
Is there any way to remove it? It kind of bothers me. Any advice?

I'd love to hear a solution to this. My view finder looks terrible. Ironically, I just picked up a T50 and a T70, and both of them have impeccably spotless view finders. I was sad that my XT isn't like them.

If steroids are illegal for athletes, should PS be illegal for models?

The optical path through and to the viewfinder is "totically optical" and has nothing to do with your camera "per se". The light comes through your lens glass, bounces of your mirror, goes through a focusing screen and then a prism to present the image through your optical viewfinder.

Where the "dots" might be depends.

One bit of gear to have is a blower, such as the Rocket Blower that can blow particles off the exterior of the mirrow and focus screen.

Beyond that you are limited...you can remove and clean the focus screen, if you carefully research the proper approach, and, whike you are at it, you can "blast" the prism and the path to the viewfinder and hope for the best!

The key is to hope for the best!

This, rocket blower is cheap. Just don't travel with it on a plane. They'll dispose of it
