I know this sounds crazy, but I shoot RAW all the time, but never print images above 11 x 14. I also shoot a lot of HDR's which makes the images pile up rather quickly.
Presently I have the 20D and a used 1DMk2. I really don't need 18 Mp or more, yes I know you can crop more, but just the same the images pile up, more and more.
So what are my choices ?

40D, 50D, 1DmkIII, 1DmkIV and prolly ur best bet is a 5D Classic... Great IQ without a huge MP count and the menu system is very similar to your 20D

From the sounds of what you do I would say the 5Dc, still a fabulous camera.

The best in terms of image quality is the 1D4 but the best in terms of bang for buck would be the 5Dc or 50D. At around $1700 used, a 5D2 is a spectacular camera which (autofocus excepted) can hold its own against the 5D3.

I'd make the choice based on the lenses you have and your budget.

Several cameras and more glass than I will admit to.

Go with a 1Ds II that way you can use the same battery as the 1D II and you will get a great full frame camera that has wonderful quality build into. It is a combination that I used for quite awhile until finally getting rid of the 1D II because I just wasn't using it enough.

Sounds like any Canon camera out there will fit your bill. Just choose which raw size you want out of it.
Reality- if you are into doing bracketed shots for HDR, how many do you want to play with? The 5D III gets you up to 7. Come on, you know you want one... lol

EOS 5D III, EOS 7D,EOS Rebel T4i, Canon 70-200 f/2.8 IS II, Canon 24-105L, Canon 18-135 IS STM, 1.4x TC III, 2.0x TC III, Σ 50mm f/1.4, Σ 17-50 OS, Σ 70-200 OS, Σ 50-500 OS, Σ 1.4x TC, Σ 2.0x TC, 580EXII(3), Canon SX-40, Canon S100
Fond memories: Rebel T1i, Canon 18-55 IS, Canon 55-250 IS, 18-135 IS (Given to a good home)...

Get a 5DII and set it to medium Raw if you dont want the full 21MP.

Yeah, all the newer Canons have multiple RAW settings for different resolutions while still maintaining the RAW capabilities to edit. I wouldn't let MP alone dictate your camera choice

I tend to use my 7D in mRAW these days (around 10Mp), unless I know I'll need to crop a lot.
Perfectly OK for most things - Let's face it, until a few years ago, we all had to 'make do' with 6 or 8Mp ;-)a

I believe you answered your own question...

What exactly are you looking for that your current bodies do not provide?

Multiple HDR shots, more than 3 preferably. Yes I can do that with the 1D, but at the same time thats more for shooting BIF.
I was hoping go to a more modern camera to replace my 20D. So If I got a T2i would I be able to shoot mutiple sizes as far as RAW ?
Which modern cameras shoot multiple sizes of RAW ?
BTW thanks very much for the info, I didn't know about the multiple sizes of RAW. Is there a place where I can see which cameras do multiple RAW, I usually go to Steves Digicams, but If theres others sites please let me know.

I don't think that the Rebels have smaller format RAW available.
