I am looking for a good workshop / tour which would take me to a place like Yellowstone / Tetons, Bryce / Zion or something similar for 5-10 days in the fall. Something that doesnt cost an arm and a leg. I've been googling for last few days and found some places but cant seem to find reviews on any of them.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Did you ever find anything? I'm looking for something next year and have the same questions as you.

Thanks!
James

You can find many in the back of Outdoor Photography. You can also find workshops run by Canon Explorers of Light. Google Canon Explorers of Light.

I sure did. I had a PM recommendation from a member. Went on a Colorado / Utah fall colors trip in late September - early October. It was night & day between my first photography tour in May and the 2nd tourwith new vendor in the fall. My next trip will be in February to Yosemite & Sequoia NP and POTN member that referred me will be going as well. I will finally have a chance to thank him in person. :)

PS. My opinion still stands that recommendation is better than just finding a workshop in the back of the magazine. It worked out well in my case. I did a lot of research and narrowed down a few vendors that had itineraries that suited my geographic needs. Problem was that there were no reviews of each vendor and I had no way of knowing the experience gained on the tour.

Who did you use and which one are you doing in February? Thanks!
