nope, its not weather sealed in the slightest! i have used my sigma 70-200 in the rain, but either under an umbrella, or with a rainsleve.

Here's a shot with the 100-300 and a 1.4 converter at full length and at 5.6. The auto focus was still pretty good even with the TC and kept up well, I was shooting in bright sunlight the whole time though. Its relatively sharp, good enough for web but you can see some softness when printed at 8x12. Without the tc though was pretty razor sharp at f4.

That there is with the Sigma 100-300 with a Sigma 1.4xTC. I was out at the track one day, and got talking to another guy shooting out there and mentioned how I wish i had something with more reach. He whipped out that combo and handed it over for me to have a play with. Here are a couple more from that day without the TC attached.

I dont to have any issues with the lens. Good luck and loom forward to seeing your shots!
