May I offer a critique/suggestion?

If I posted these photos, I would be happy with them. But since I have seen some of your photos that I wish I could take, I do not think these are your best. That said, I am probably biased because I have a project that I want to execute, that if I had your skills, I might have a chance of pulling off.

My project idea involves taking really amazing night photos of urban environments and including glamour/fashion models.

When I look at photos on your site like these.

http://www.flickr.com …6636219327/in/photostream (external link)

And I know you have access to an amazing (and willing) model, Tanya.

I think these photos come up short as to what you are capable of producing, both technically and creatively.

Then again, I am probably just jealous of your skills, so take my comments with a grain of salt.

Heath, you're killing me.... LMAO!

Landscapes & portraiture are different.... While i may be good at portraits, glammour, i may be bad at night photography, which is really the case... i'm "Ehh", when it comes to night photography and i know this... but i think, when you Criticize someones photos, you should give them tips as to how to shoot that Certain Scene. Example; what would you have done differently in the posted images? Are the angles wrong, depth of field off? Too Soft, etc....

My tip, add a model :) I told you, I am just jealous of your other work.

And right or wrong, I see the architectural aspects of these photos before I see the night aspect. For example, I would watch your lines and "fix" the distortion of the bridges as much as possible. For example, in the first image everything is tilting in because you had the camera tilted up. I would either straighten the image or crop out the building and lamp post on the right side.

In the last photo, I find the foreground too bright. I think it takes away from the bridge as the subject. That said, I would not crop out the rocks as I like that they frame the image, I would just take them down a bit.

I think the first image is the strongest. I like the colors and the angle. I like the way the grass keeps the image grounded.

Better?

Wait your considered "Ehh"? Jeez don't be too hard on yourself. Pictures look great. Update me on why these pictures are average so my knowledge of night photography is furthered. Next to those shots, my skill level is on par with a blind guy with a polaroid camera.

I like the shots but they seem to bright to me. The last two might benefit from curve adjustment, darken the sky a little bit and in the last one try darkening the rocks.
