I photograph a lot of MotorSport and there is often a specific requirement for the description (not the keywords) of the images to be in a certain format.
I normally do this as a mixture of batch entry for the common text and then manually add the bespoke parts. For example ….
Batch entry - “Round 67 of the World Tiddlewinks Championship, Dark Side of the Moon, 34th September 1804”
I then go through each image and add the specifics “Sigmund Gree (GER) lines up a whole shot at ... “ or perhaps “Joe Soap (GBR) and Mary Mary (CHE) at ...”
What I’m looking for is an application that lets me specify the batch text as a default and then pick the specific text from a prepared list.
Does anyone know of such a piece of software ? There seems to be lots for keywording and even more for manual entry. Adobe Bridge goes part way there but only for keywords.
IPTC and the Legacy IPTC fields are the ones I’m looking to fill.
Any suggestions appreciated – Mac or PC
