Thanks Everyone.
I went back a few more times now and was even able to document 3 seperate adults due to their faciel markings but all within a 10km stretch of highway.

It is amazing how close I can actually get. These owls are very tolerant of my presance and I have seen them hunt right in front of me at dusk. They pounce on mice in the grass that I may even be scaring away within 15 feet of me. Thank god they come so close as I was worried I would not get good shots with the 55-250mm and was actually quite jealous of my friends 400mm but each time I've managed to get close enough it doesn't even matter.

I will be posting my results for you all tomorrow , as I've mentioned I've gone back 3 or 4 more times and got some worthy shots
