Spent the last couple of mornings at one of my favorite spots. It's in a state park, and there are a number of bird species all in a small area - Egrets, Herons, Red-Headed Woodpeckers, Red-Winged Blackbirds, Mockingbirds, Bluebirds, and more.
I'm really enjoying watching and photographing the Green Herons, which I haven't seen (or noticed?) before. I posted my first shots a few days ago, and thought I'd share some more. All shot with a 50D and 100-400. Thanks for looking, and thanks to those who posted in the other thread!
