Looks like I will have to remove the lever that is attached to the plate, before I can fix the Henjar plate!

Are you buying the full kit? If so, the lever is no longer needed since you're not using the manfrotto plates anymore.

Manfrotto did redo their L bracket line up. You can get them with the RC2 and RC4 plates. I would still change over to the Arca system, though.
